<image:title>About Me - I took courses at Greenfield Community College, and then went to the [former] College of Santa Fe, in Santa Fe, New Mexico (for a B.A. in Art + Psychology with a Concentration in: Art Therapy.) During my time in New Mexico. I was introduced to different art forms, ways of creating, living and working. The shift in diversity of people, plants, animals, landscapes and land rights were all present and palpable in informing my growth as a person and practitioner. I worked in an art gallery, the B+W and Color photography dark rooms, and as a teacher for community teens who were looking to bring their graffiti skills from the walls to the canvas.</image:title>

      <image:title>Art Therapy - What is art therapy?</image:title>
<image:caption>Art therapy is when a credentialed Art Therapist facilitates client(s) in the use of: visual arts (exploration of materials and the image(s) produced) the creative process (the act of creating itself) verbal expression (talk therapy methods) within the therapeutic relationship, to work towards individual and/or group goals. The art acts as a 3rd element of the session to contain, explore and re-imagine emotions and events. All sessions are protected by an informed consent contract reviewed and signed by client and therapist (and additional signer if legally obliged) and is bound by client protected confidentiality</image:caption>

<image:title>Art Therapy - Is art therapy for me?</image:title>
<image:caption>We all create and experience art differently, and uniquely. I am not an Art Teacher. I am an Art Therapist BUT I do have experience with a vast variety of art media that I look forward to exploring (and learning more about) with you. There is no such thing as GOOD or BAD ART in Art Therapy. There are lines, forms, movement and expression. Sometimes it can be messy, or precise, planned or spontaneous</image:caption>
